Corruption feeds from your silence.

The film was created for Young Lions Colombia, a competition by Cannes Lions for young creative talent where teams have 48 hours to conceptualize, produce, and present an advertising film based on a brand or service. On this occasion, the client was Colombia’s anti-corruption agency.

For the competition, we created a short film in which a family prepares a lavish banquet that ultimately ends with a pig voraciously devouring the food from the table, while the family that prepared the feast watches in sadness, remaining silent and unable to speak.

The visual metaphor conveys many things, one of them being that corruption feeds and grows through silence.

The family in the film is my own family, and the house is the house where I spent many moments of my childhood, and where I also lived through some of that silence in the face of injustice. A metaphor for life.
